Key points: Partial de-stemming. Skin maceration followed by fermentation on skins for some hours. Fermentation finishes in used, 400-litre barrels. Undergoes “batonnage” in the same barrels for 9 months on fine lees.
Tasting notes: Strong intensity of varietal aromas of the Alvarinho variety. Full-bodied and voluminous with slight presence of ripe tannins. Dry finish with the bitter notes typical of the variety
